The universe of Eve is huge, and the loneliness hits you in the face like a cold wind. Especially early in the game, it;s easy to become completely exasperated with how it does not delete it feels like an Internet game, and your target is weak, if not at all defined. According to the developers, a server could accommodate up to a hundred thousand players, and currently it is usually rare for more than five thousand, which is a clear indicator of how lifeless and lonely it can feel.
